Important suggestion: Your story and connection to the content of the event in the very beginning of the promotional emails will make this much more interesting. Consider telling your readers why this subject is so near and dear to your heart. Feel free to modify the introductions to reflect your direct experience and feelings, but please also check that your words flow smoothly into the rest of the copy by reading it through after your edits.
